If you’re planning on taking a trip to City Hall or the public library, remember that the city offices will have different schedules in the coming weeks.

City offices, including the library, Community Activities Center and Senior Activities Center, will be closed on Monday, Dec. 24; Tuesday, Dec. 25 and Tuesday, Jan. 1 for Christmas Eve, Christmas and New Year’s Day.

All essential services will operate normally. Trash service and recycling collection will shift as follows: Tuesday, Dec. 25 trash pick-up and/or recycling collection will shift to Wednesday, Dec. 26. Wednesday, Dec. 26 bulk and brush collection will shift to Thursday, Dec. 27. Thursday, Dec. 27 trash pick-up and/or recycling collection will shift to Friday, December 28. Friday, December 28 trash pick-up and/or recycling collection will shift to Saturday, Dec. 29.

All trash pick-up and/or recycling collection will shift to the following day as mentioned above during the week of Jan. 1. The week of Jan. 9, all trash pick-up and/or recycling collection will resume its normal schedule.

The City Council meeting scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 1 has been cancelled.
