Avant Chamber Ballet is proud to announce its debut performance, featuring the world premier of “Poulenc for 6” in Colleyville, TX on June 2, 2012.  The new ballet company is comprised of local area dancers as well as live musicians. The company’s goal is to provide quality performances using original choreography set to live music.

The show in June will use a sextet that includes Dallas Symphony Orchestra’s David Cooper on French horn, and Cary Chow, concert pianist from Vancouver.  Dancers included are from the DFW area and have experience in performing and choreography.

The show will be a donation only event intended to introduce the company to the community. Proceeds will go back into the company to cover theater costs, and to the performers. It will take place at Lifestage Theater June 2 at 7:30 p.m. and June 3 at 2:00 p.m.  Lifestage Theater is located at 3105 Ira E. Woods Ave, Suite 180; Grapevine, TX 76051; 817-421-0616.
