“Black Iris”

“I very much enjoyed the unique process of painting the ‘Black Iris’ because it is the essence of beauty.  Primarily found in Jordan, around the Dead Sea, its grandeur ensures that it sits on the throne of all the wild flowers.  It is one of the rarest flowers in the world displaying a very unique mix of colors. It is characterized by a dark purple almost black color with a mesmerizing Lilac hue.”

“Winter is Coming”

“The American Bison is absolutely majestic. This particular bull lives in Pittsburg, Texas on a farm. His owner raised him from a baby. If you’ve never seen bison up close (through a strong fence, please) you owe it to yourself to do just that. They are massive animals, but peering into their eyes, one feels a kinship that is hard to describe.”
