Food preservation was a must for settlers and residents of late 19th century Texas. This skill can still be useful today. Learn the basics of butchering and curing hogs during this two day workshop. Also see how the smokehouse was used in preserving pork. Registration is required and all participants must be 16 years of age or older. All participants must register for both days if they plan to attend both days.
