End of Year Considerations

The end of 2015 is fast approaching and it's time to think about fitting in all that you need to do before 2016 is here.  We have some special information below that will help put everything in perspective.

12 Days of Christmas Special

We have come up with an exciting way to celebrate the holidays with our 12 Days of Christmas special.  Starting December 8th we will have a deeply discounted item that you can take advantage of.  Make sure you set up your appointments today.  Spaces are filling up fast and the deals only last for twelve short days!

Flu Season

Flu Season is here and we have a supplement package that will help keep you healthy and strong.

Supplements included are:

  • Vitamin C
  • Vitamin D3
  • Vitamin A
  • Fish Oil
  • Zinc
  • Probiotics

Insurance Considerations

For those of you who have flexible spending plans, if there is a credit in you FSA account, you must "use it or lose it" by the end of the year.  Also, for those who have met their deductibles, the end of the year is the perfect time to do any follow up testing you may have been putting off.  If you wait until next year, you will have a new deductible to meet.  Remember your FSA covers supplements since they are physician prescribed and purchased here.

In addition, some health policies are written so that if you meet some or all of your deductible in the last quarter (Now through December), that amount counts toward your deductible in both 2014 and 2015.  This is called a calendar year carry over.  Check with your insurance agent or insurance liaison to see if you have this type of benefit.

Allergy Patients

For patients who are on Low Dose Antigen (LDA) treatment or want to begin therapy, December is a great time to be treated because this is one of the months when pollen counts are lowest.  This way you will have a much easier time with spring allergies.

Raw Food Class

Research shows that this diet/lifestyle has the potential to reverse diabetes and heart disease, reduce inflammation, nurture the body during and following cancer treatment, promote an ideal weight, revitalize energy, activate anti-aging genes and promote longevity.

Please join us for a special class on the raw food lifestyle with Suzy Edmonson and special guest and author, Cheryl Beesley.  Cheryl will present a special guide to landscaping with edible plants, which is also the title of her new book!  Be sure to sign up today as there is limited spots available.

Digging Deeper: Detox

Our Digging Deeper series is back and better than ever!  For our first meeting in 2016, we will feature a discussion on the importance of detoxification with certified Clinical Nutritionist, author, and radio host, Martie Whittekin.  For more information on her books and show, click here.

As always, a gluten free lunch will be provided and this event is totally free.  Make sure to enter our drawing for one of our fabulous giveaways when you're here and feel free to bring a friend or two!
