The new 2024 ART EVENT SERIES has been launched at Holder Dane Gallery & Art Studios on historic downtown Main Street in Grapevine! 

You are invited to unleash your artistic spirit in a new event series titled: “Abstract Painting with Prompts." With a variety of prompts to spark your imagination, this in-person event promises to be a journey of self-expression and discovery. Think of this as a painting game where each person is prompted to create art intuitively. Participants will randomly select a prompt written on a piece of paper, read it aloud, and then everyone will respond on canvas in their own unique way. It is great fun to see the results! 

During this event, a professional artist will offer a brief demonstration of art techniques and provide guidance throughout the three-hour session. All necessary supplies will be provided and participants will leave with two completed paintings, tangible mementos of personal artistic exploration. The option to bring your beverages (BYOB) and snacks (BYOF) adds a social element, making it a great outing for friends, couples, families, or those looking for a solo creative experience.

On Valentine’s Day February 14th, between 5:00pm and 8:00pm, Holder Dane Gallery will be hosting this Abstract Painting Challenge with an extra touch of Valentine’s sweetness! Discover the joy and freedom of abstract art and immerse yourself in the creative flow while savoring artfully curated food, drinks, and Valentine's treats from local businesses.
