The Grapevine-Colleyville ISD community is invited to a unique basketball game where the GCISD Special Olympics Basketball team will take on the Grapevine and Colleyville Police departments in a first-ever charity game to support GCISD Special Olympics on Feb. 24 at 6:30 p.m. Admission is $1, with all proceeds benefiting the GCISD Special Olympics program.

In addition to the game, hotdogs, snacks, refreshments and spirit gear will be on sale.

The event is taking place at the Grapevine High School gym, located at 3223 Mustang Drive in Grapevine. About 30 Special Olympians will participate, as well as police officers from both city police departments. Close to 500 students and guests are expected at the big game.

All proceeds will help fund uniform costs, equipment and other GCISD student needs for Special Olympics.
