Schools throughout the Grapevine-Colleyville Independent School District on Friday are honoring the men and women who have bravely served and are currently serving our country.

GCISD will mark Veteran's Day with a variety of activities such as special assemblies, choir performances, and more. Students at Bear Creek Elementary will don red, white and blue to show their support, while Grapevine High will pay tribute to the U.S. military with a breakfast for veterans in the GHS library. At Cross Timbers Middle School, Navy veteran and current American Airlines pilot Capt. Bart Roberts will speak to students. Choir performances will be held at Glenhope Elementary.
