STARS Theater Company presents Disney's THE LITTLE MERMAID

Join Ariel and her friends under the sea in Disney’s THE LITTLE MERMAID.  Your favorite characters and songs from the Disney movie come to life in STARS Theater Company’s production of Disney’s THE LITTLE MERMAID Jr. scheduled for January 9-11 and 16-18 at Tarrant County College Northeast Campus located at 828 Harwood Rd in Hurst.

A magical underwater kingdom, sets the stage for the modern adaptation of Hans Christian Anderson’s beloved tale.   The beautiful young mermaid, Ariel, longs to leave her ocean home, and her fins, behind to live in the world above.   Her friends Flounder and Sebastian stand by her as she defies her father King Triton, makes a deal with the evil sea witch Ursula, and tries to convince the handsome Prince Eric that she’s the girl of his dreams.  The musical score includes popular songs such as “Part of Your World” and “Under The Sea.”

Ariel and Prince Eric will be played by Saginaw residents Bailey Brewer and Taylor Johnson.  Kirk Zanetti from Plano will play Sebastian and the role of Flounder will be played by Pierson van den Dyssel from Southlake.  Other local cast members include Alexander Deras from Hurst as King Triton, Megan Walsh from Southlake as Scuttle, and Grapevine resident Jonathan Neiman as he evil sea witch, Ursula.

STARS Theater Company’s production of Disney’s THE LITTLE MERMAID, Jr. is great family entertainment.   The production runs January 9-10 & 16-17 at 7:30pm and January 11 & 18 at 3:00pm at Tarrant County College Northeast Campus located at 828 Harwood Rd. in Hurst.  Tickets are $12 for adults and $8 for children.  For more reservations or information call 817-925-1430 or check the website at www.STARSTheatercompany.org
