Grapevine, the official Christmas Capital of Texas, is ringing in the holiday season with a special event, The Carol of Lights, tonight at the Main Street Gazebo.

Bundle up and head to Historic Downtown Grapevine and watch as Mayor William D. Tate "flips the switch," illuminating the 47' Christmas tree and all of downtown Grapevine. Sing along with live music and listen to the carols sung by Grapevine Elementary School students or visit with Frosty and Rudolph.

Be sure to bring your camera and kids, as there will be an appearance by some special surprise characters. Indulge in free kettle corn and sip hot cocoa while watching the all-new light show spectacular featuring more than half a million LED lights.

The event begins at 7 p.m. Monday, November 21st.
