Things Are About to Get Spooky Fun in Sundance Square

Sundance Square’s Spooky Sip & Shop returns for its second year pairing wine tastings and delicious bites from Sundance Square restaurants with exclusives on merchandise of all kinds – from apparel to jewelry, gifts to home décor.

The event benefits Komen Greater Fort Worth on Saturday, October 20 from 1 – 5 pm. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door.

“Spooky Sip & Shop is a unique opportunity for shoppers to taste 12 wines and enjoy scrumptious bites from Sundance Square restaurants,” said Tracy Gilmour, Sundance Square’s marketing director. “With each ticket, guests also receive a complimentary tasting glass and a great time with family and friends.”

Last year’s Spooky Sip & Shop resulted in more than $7,200 raised for Tarrant Area Food Bank. The funds were used to provide approximately 36,000 meals for families in the community.

Parking is always free in Sundance Square after 5 pm on weekdays. Before 5 pm, parking is free with validation from a Sundance Square restaurant or retailer.  Validation is good for 2.5 hours of dining or shopping, or four hours for weekday movies.  Weekends are free throughout the day and evening.

Guests also have the option to valet park for free throughout Sundance Square with purchase from a Sundance Square merchant. Just look for the red umbrellas in 10 locations within Sundance Square.

Sundance Square is a vibrant, award-winning entertainment district spanning 35 blocks in downtown Fort Worth. The multi-use development attracts more than 10 million visitors each year for dining, shopping, events, and performances.
