Just a short drive away from the DFW metroplex, in the city of Weatherford, there's an annual event that's just plain peachy. From 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, the 34th Annual Peach Festival will draw more than 40,000 folks to Parker County. 

Admission to this day-long event is $5 for adults and free for kids under the age of 12. Drop by to shop arts and crafts, listen to live music, and of course, buy tons of juicy, fresh peaches and desserts. Locals set up everything from children's activities to the Peach Pedal Bike Ride, so there's something for everyone at this festival.
