Bluebonnet Resource Conservation & Development will hold its annual meeting which is open to the public on Thursday, November 16, 2017, in Grand Prairie this year. The annual meeting provides an overview of the past year's accomplishments and a preview of the coming year's activities to fulfill the work plan. The meeting will be held at the City of Grand Prairie Airport Conference Room, 3116 S. Great Southwest Pkwy., 75052, at 10 a.m.

Bluebonnet RC & D serves the needs of Dallas, Ellis, Hill, Hunt, Johnson, Kaufman, Parker, Navarro, Rockwall, and Tarrant counties by finding funding opportunities, building partnerships, and developing great ideas that improve life in our communities. Our work has benefited our environment, built economically stronger communities, and enhanced the quality of life in North Central Texas since 1995. Each year, the RC & D offers several community improvement grants to fund hometown projects by local organizations - large and small.

The RC & D's programs are directed by a board representing each of the 10 counties in the service area. Bluebonnet is currently seeking individuals in Hunt and Rockwall counties interested in representing their county on the board. Membership in the RC & D is required.
