Peter Drakos has a unique series of skills.  He is a nationally acclaimed carnival game winner, a gambling consultant and a magician, also known as Peter Magic.

On Thursday, Sept. 13, Magic used his skills to win more than 40 prizes at the opening day of Grapevine’s 26th annual GrapeFest.  After playing games on the carnival midway for two hours, Magic donated the prizes to The Family Place, the largest provider of domestic violence services in Dallas.

Magic, Grapevine Mayor William D. Tate and Paige Flink, executive director of The Family Place, held a presentation of the prizes at 4 p.m.

“Whenever you can help children in any way possible, you’ll find me here to do it,” said Magic.  “When you know it’s going for a good cause, we can conquer anything.”
