The Grapevine Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) welcomes the International Porcelain Art Exhibition, A World Apart…Fired Art, to the Grapevine CVB’s Tower Gallery May 4 – August 31. The show is free to the public.

Featuring more than 100 works of art, this exhibition offers a variety of stunning antiques to modern creations by porcelain artists from around the world. The collection of antique china, along with the addition of modern acquisitions, makes the collection a valued historical hallmark of styles through the past 100 years.

The exhibition is a collection of works by the International Porcelain Artists and Teachers (IPAT) organization. IPAT was founded in 1958 in Dallas, Texas by a small group of porcelain art teachers. Since that time, the organization has been instrumental in stimulating international interest and appreciation for porcelain art.

A World Apart…Fired Art will be open to the public, Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.; Saturday 10 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. and Sunday 12 p.m. – 5 p.m.  The Tower Gallery is located in the Grapevine CVB Headquarters and Museum Complex at 636 S. Main St. in Grapevine. The exhibition opens just in time for the Grapevine Art Dealers Association’s Spring Gallery Night, which is scheduled for May 4, from 2 p.m. – 8 p.m.

Grapevine’s art community continues to expand with new and special engagement art exhibitions, recently opened galleries, the Public Art Trail, fine art working studios and more.  For more information about Grapevine or any of Grapevine’s events, please visit www.GrapevineTexasUSA.com or call 817-410-3185.
