STARS Theater Company announces auditions for a special Teen Comedy Workshop culminating in a performance of an Olde Fashioned Melodrama.  Students will study comedic acting styles preparing for a special dinner theater performance.  Auditions are Monday, March 26 and the Olde Fashioned Melodrama performance is scheduled for the evening of April 27.  The workshop class and rehearsals are scheduled on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings 6pm-8pm through the week of the performance.

In keeping with the style of the Olde Fashioned Melodrama, audience participation is key to the success of the show.  The young actors will learn to think on their feet and stay in character while interacting with the audience.   Theatergoers will cheer, boo and even throw popcorn as the cast of zany characters attempt to outwit the dastardly deeds of the mischievous villain.  Eccentric characters combined with an enthusiastic audience equals an, extremely entertaining theater experience for the audience and actors alike.  The workshop and performance will be at Scott Hall in Bedford.  For more information on the Teen Comedy Workshop and auditions call 817-925-1430 or check online at www.STARSTheaterCompany.org.
