RELIVE YOUR CHILDHOOD DREAMS WITH THE “BACK TO THE FUTURE”

DELOREAN TIME MACHINE REPLICA

A portion of the car’s appearance fee at Grapevine’s Main Street Fest is contributed to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research

The DeLorean Time Machine, hand-built to be an exact replica from the “Back to the Future” movies, will be one of the main attractions at the 35th Annual Main Street Fest – A Craft Brew Experience, presented by Bank of the West, May 17, 18 and 19 as 1985 is celebrated in all its acid-wash glory.

As Back to the Future” enthusiasts pose, feign and emulate their favorite film scenes alongside the most recognized time traveling speedster, and since The Palace Theatre will be showing “Back to the Future” Parts I, II and III throughout the weekend, all poses should have an authentic feel while the fun goes toward a great (Scott!) cause. A portion from the booking fees are donated to The Michael J. Fox Foundation.

One million Americans suffer from Parkinson’s disease, which is more than the combined number of people diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy and Lou Gehrig’s disease. Approximately 60,000 Americans are diagnosed with the chronic and progressive Parkinson’s disease each year, and this number does not reflect the thousands of cases that go undetected. At present time, there is no cure.

The 35th Annual Main Street Fest – A Craft Brew Experience, presented by Bank of the West, opens Friday, May 17 at 10 a.m. and admission is free until 5 p.m. After 5 p.m. on Friday, adults are $7, children 6-12 and seniors 62+ are $5 and children five and under are free. Weekend passes are $15. Souvenir weekend passes are $20. Complimentary shuttles run continuously from designated parking lots. Festival hours are Friday, May 17 and Saturday, May 18, 10 a.m. – 11:30 p.m. and Sunday, May 19, 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
