STARS Theater Company meets at the Community Building behind the FUMC Bedford located at 2012 Shady Brook in Bedford.

Disney’s ALADDIN Jr is based on the 1992 award winning film about the “diamond in the rough” who learns that his true worth lies deep within.  Aladdin and his three friends, Babkak, Omar, and Kassim, are down on their luck until Aladdin discovers a magic lamp.  The “all powerful” Genie ready to grant three wishes appears and Aladdin’s wonderful adventure begins. Hoping to earn the respect of the princess, Jasmine, he embarks on a journey that will test his will and his moral character.  All the favorite characters join in the fun including Jafar, Iago, and the Sultan. The musical score includes favorite songs from the movie.   With plenty of roles for both male and female actors, experienced young performers and those new to the stage will enjoy “a whole new world” at STARS Theater Company.

The musical THE VELVETEN RABBIT is based on the classic story of a stuffed toy rabbit made real by a child’s enduring love.  When the little boy announces his Velveteen Rabbit is real, the Nursery Magic Fairy turns this love into a miracle.  Young actors ages 8-12 bring to life all the toys in the closet.  The musical score includes songs such as Nursery Magic, An Ordinary Rabbit, and Ballad of the Mechanical Toys.  All roles will be played by young people.
