Have a frightfully fun time in Grapevine this October! From scary stories to train rides to wine trails, you’ll find a witch’s brew full of fun fall entertainment.

Starting Oct. 10, learn about Grapevine’s haunted past on the Grapevine Night Watchman Tour, presented by D’Vine Wine. This hauntings and history tour features stories such as who robbed the bank on Main in 1932 and tales about which winery tasting room is haunted. The tour is a 90-minute walking tour through Grapevine and begins at D’Vine Wine, 409 S. Main Street. Tickets are $20 for adults, $17 for students and seniors and $10 for children under 12. Tours are Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 6 p.m.

Are you ready for the Chillin’ Train of Horror? On Oct. 25 from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m., this special train excursion aboard the Grapevine Vintage Railroad features appetizers, beer and wine along with ghost riders and an appearance by the Headless Horseman. This train ride is for guests 21 and up. Tickets are $40 and must be purchased in advance. More information here.

Bring your little ghosts and goblins to Grapevine’s Historic Nash Farm on Saturday, Oct. 26 from 7 – 9 p.m. for Bewitched by the Barn. Presented by the Tarrant Area Guild of Storytellers, this free family event features stories that become scarier as the night progresses. Guests will enjoy free popcorn and hot cider. Make sure to bring flashlights, chairs and blankets. Free. More information here.  

Have some frightfully grownup fun along the Hallo-Wine Trail, Saturday, Oct. 26 from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. This event includes three tastings and food samplings at each participating winery, a large crystal souvenir wine glass and a premium bottle of Texas wine. Costumes are encouraged. Tickets are $45 in advance, $50 at the door and can be picked up at Cross Timbers Winery, 805 N. Main St., beginning at 10 a.m. Guests must be 21 and up. Ride the rails on the Halloween Treat Train aboard the Grapevine Vintage Railroad. On Sunday, Oct. 27, children wearing their costumes will receive treats aboard this festive event. Tickets start at $10. More information here.
