For family-friendly fall fun, check out all the exciting happenings at Grapevine’s Palace Theatre! October is the perfect time to bring the whole family to Grapevine to enjoy an evening of fun.

Back by popular demand, the legendary Penny Gilley will be performing at the Palace Theatre Oct. 5 at 7:30 p.m. Host of The Penny Gilley Show on RFD-TV, this evening will be Penny’s first concert in Grapevine after a four-year run in Branson. Maste impressionist Mike Walker, a regular on Penny’s show, will also be in attendance. Tickets are $25.

The Palace Theatre offers classic movies this month. Tickets are just $5. Enjoy a great Friday evening film at this restored 1940s-era performance venue. October’s movie schedule includes:

  • Back to the Future, Oct. 4, 7:30 p.m. Rated PG (1985)
  • Star Wars Episode V:The Empire Strikes Back, Oct. 18, 7:30 p.m. Rated PG (1980)

Celebrate art in the heart of Historic Downtown Grapevine at the Grapevine Art Project’s Holiday Show and Sale on Friday, Oct. 18, 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 19, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. Meet local artists during the complimentary wine reception and sale. More than 20 local artists will display and sell works of art, including paintings, photography, creative glass art and etching, jewelry, pottery, graphics/drawings, ceramics, sculpture, fiber and book art. Start your holiday shopping early at the show. Admission is free. 

October offers a full schedule of shows by the Grapevine Opry. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under. The Grapevine Opry’s October schedule is: 

  • Grapevine Opry Entertainer Awards, Oct. 12, 7:30 p.m. Tickets $20
  • Country Music Showcase, Oct. 19, 7:30 p.m.
  • Fabulous Fifties Jukebox Oct. 26, 7:30 p.m.
