Jay McAuley Joins True North Advisors

True North Advisors has named Jay McAuley as Vice President of Strategic Relationships. True North Advisors, LLC is a wealth management firm providing clients with comprehensive offerings in investment management and wealth planning.

 “Jay has deep relationships in the many communities of which he is a part,” said Scott Wood, President and Co-founder of True North. “We know his unique background and strong connections will have a huge impact on our firm,” Wood added.

A Park Cities resident, McAuley has almost 30 years of experience in the development field, both in healthcare and secondary education. Previously, McAuley was President of Texas Health Resources Foundation where he reported to an 18-member Foundation Board of Trustees, supervised a staff of 30 and supported 14 wholly owned hospitals in a 17 County North Texas service area. Prior to that he was President of Texas Health Presbyterian Foundation and Vice President of Philanthropic Strategy and Special Initiatives. He also had a long tenure at the St. Mark’s School of Texas where he was the Director of Development, Director of Capital Giving, Director of Alumni Relations and the Head Football Coach.

 McAuley received a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Texas Tech University where he played football all four years.  He also received a Master of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University.
