The Brain Club offers exciting educational classes for children and adults at the Coppell Aquatic and Recreation Center in Coppell.  Our courses are interesting, challenging and engaging. We work hard to ensure content is appropriate for the students’ age and match teaching methods with student’s “learning styles”. Courses offered are geared around the following subjects: Science, Math, Engineering, Computer Programming and Foreign Language.

Upcoming courses from October through December:

MODULAR ROBOTICS- students combine sensor, logic and actuator blocks to create simple, reconfiguable robots that exhibit surprisingly complex behavoiors.  A challenging STEM-based curriculum that will keep students engaged.

Wednesdays, October 29-November 19, 6:30-7:15pm - MODULAR ROBOTICS 1 (Ages 6-8)

Wednesdays, December 3-December 17, 6:30-7:15pm - MODULAR ROBOTICS 2 (Ages 9-12)

LEGO Motorized Machines- students practice advanced mechanical concepts, pheumatics and renewalbe energy by building and exploring through use of LEGO education kits.

Wednesdays, December 3 - December 17, 5:30-6:30pm - LEGO MOTORIZED MACHINES (Ages 9-14)

MANDARIN or FRENCH for Adults and Kids- students will begin to learn the language as well as understnd the history of their cultures.  Includes plenty of exercises and written material.  Students will speak via Skype with Mandarin and French speakers from other countries.

Mandarin (Ages 8-12)- Saturdays, November 1 - November 22, 9:45-10:45am

Mandarin (Adults)- Saturdays, November 1 - November 22, 8:30-9:30am

French (Ages 8-12)- Fridays, October 31-November 21, 5:30-6:30pm

French (Adults)- Fridays, October 31-November 21 6:30-7:15pm
