The Grapevine-Colleyville ISD Board of Trustees approved the hire of Shannon Tovar as the new principal of Grapevine High School during Monday's board meeting. Now, students, parents, faculty and the public will have a chance to meet Tovar this week. 

The GHS PTA is hosting a community meet and greet with Tovar on Wednesday, March 28th. The event will be held in the GHS library from 5 to 6 p.m. and community members are invited to attend.

District officials are still working to finalize her transition plan.
