Recycling Event Set for March 31st

With warmer temperatures and sunshine filled days, now is the perfect time to roll up those sleeves and get a little spring cleaning done. It's time to tidy up and dispose of a lot of that junk sitting in your house and closet... and the City of Grapevine wants to make it easier on you to keep Grapevine beautiful.

On Saturday, March 31st, the "crud cruiser" will make a stop in Grapevine. The Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event will be held from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at 501 Shady Brooke Drive. Grapevine residents can drop off things like old televisions, antifreeze, mattresses and more and rest assured that they will be properly recycled.

There are a few things that cannot be accepted:

  • Unknown Waste
  • Ammunition
  • Explosives
  • Closed Cylinders (i.e. Extinguishers)
  • Medical Waste
  • Radioactive Material
  • Tires
  • Commercial / Business Waste
