The MetroTex Association of REALTORS® today released Grapevine homes sales figures for the month of May. MetroTex President Steve Habgood announced Grapevine’s record volume of sales.

“The market in Grapevine on is extremely active,” said Habgood. “While overall the number of available homes is low on any given day, homes that do appear on market tend to sell very quickly. There were 70 days and 61 pending sales in Grapevine last month.“

“We definitely recommend consumers develop a good relationship with their REALTOR® to help them navigate such an active market like Grapevine is experiencing,” said Habgood.

Other highlights include of the MetroTex report include:

• The average sales price in Grapevine is $349,527, a 14% increase.
• Average sales price is 99% of list price when listed with a REALTOR®
• The number of available homes on the market in May 2015 was 83 compared to 81 in May 2014.
• The average price per square foot in Grapevine increased from $123 in May 2014 to $137 in May 2015. 

“We predict Grapevine will continue to be part of one of the most active markets in the country,” said Habgood. “In Grapevine, homes listed with REALTORS® are selling in 30 days on average.
