If you're feeling a little blue now that Main Street Days has come to an end, there's no need to worry—SummerBlast 2012 will kick off this Friday.

Memorial Day weekend signals the start of all the summer fun and fireworks will mark the occasion. Head to Lake Grapevine on Friday, May 25 to watch the sky light up with the bright colors. The spectacular show begins around 9:30 p.m. and will take place every Friday through August 31.

According to the Grapevine Convention and Visitor's Bureau, "some of the best viewing spots include parks throughout Grapevine, as well as the parking garages at the Gaylord Texan and the Glass Cactus nightclub."
