A memorial will be held for Laurie Egeland, the Grapevine High School Parent-Student-Teacher Association (PTSA) President who died in December of esophageal cancer, next month.

Friends and acquaintances are invited to the service, which will be held at First United Methodist Church in Grapevine at 11:00 a.m. on February 4th.

According to the GHS PTSA newsletter, Egeland was in her second term as the PTSA president and had served as a volunteer and on PTA boards for the past 12 years. She leaves behind her husband John Egeland, and three children, T.J., Susan, and Jimmy Egeland.
