Mobility Credit Union will be hosting Shred-A-Palooza on Saturday, September 12th for the community.

The Federal Trade Commission recommends shredding sensitive documents to secure your Identification.  "Keeping personal information secure is important to safeguard your family against ID theft and scams," said Mark O'Bryan, Mobility CU CEO.  "We are pleased to provide this helpful service to our members and the community free of charge."

Shred-A-Palooza will provide residents with the opportunity to have their confidential, private, and important paper documents destroyed by First-Shred, a professional shredding service.

Items that should be shred may include: bills, bank statements, cancelled or voided checks, employee documents, legal documents, medical records, pay stubs, receipts and tax forms to name a few. This event is for paper products only (with the exception of rubber bands, staples, and paper clips, which do not need to be removed). No three-ring binders, hanging file folders, credit cards, plastics, media items (CD’s, tapes, x-rays, etc.), photos, or other non-paper products.
