The Texan Trail bridge remains closed on Friday, a day after a truck carrying construction equipment hit the bridge, scattering chunks of concrete and debris on the highway below.

According to the DFW Connector website, the bridge will remain closed until further notice. The bridge was supposed to re-open at 6:00 a.m. on Friday, but after engineers checked the integrity of the bridge, that decision was delayed.

Drivers should use the Main Street bridge instead.
