The City of Grapevine will hold a General Election on Saturday, May 12 for mayor and two council members; one for Place 1 and one for Place 2.

Running for Mayor:

  • AnneMarie Kearney
  • William D. "Bill" Tate

Running for Council, Place 1:

  • C. Shane Wilbanks

Running for Council, Place 2:

  • Sharron Spencer

Voters living in the Grapevine-Colleyville Independent School District will also elect two school board trustees; one for Place 1 and one for Place 2.

School Board Trustee, Place 1:

  • Kimberley Barber Davis
  • Rick Hinckley
  • Julia Guzman-Henderson

School Board Trustee, Place 2:

  • Becky St. John
  • Gary Harrison-Ducros
  • Michael McCoy

According to a press release from GCISD, "Two candidates, Rick Hinckley, Place 1, and Michael McCoy, Place 2 have notified the district in writing that they are no longer actively seeking election to the GCISD Board of Trustees."

March 8, however, was the official withdrawal deadline for candidates to have their names removed from the ballot, so both McCoy and Hinckley will be listed on the election ballot. While votes cast for them will be tabulated as for any other candidate, neither is seeking a spot on the Board of Trustees.
