Skip the cooking and clean-up by dining out at Spring Creek Barbeque on Wednesday, May 2 instead.

Cannon Elementary will host a "spirit night" at the restaurant to raise money for its parent teacher association. The fundraiser is from 5 to 9 p.m. and 20% of the evening's proceeds will go the PTA, plus the class with the best attendance will receive a prize from Spring Creek. Teachers will also be serving bread in the dining room.

All students should sign in at the door. Spring Creek Barbeque is located at 315 Highway 114 West in Grapevine.
