NEW GRAPEVINE HISTORICAL MUSEUM UPDATE TO BE FEATURED at APRIL 28 Meeting

At the April monthly meeting of the Historical Society on Monday April 28 you will enjoy an informative and comprehensive update on our new Historical Museum to be housed in a replica building of the Grapevine Ice Company that is located in the Ted R. Ware plaza on Hudgins Street. Featured highlights will be presentations by our own museum committee as well as a virtual walk-through by the Museum Arts Company, which is the contractor for the design and build-out of the interior for our new museum. 

Society member Jane Doclar will also present a video to tell us about the recent “Historic Preservation Award” received from the Daughters of the American Revolution for outstanding achievement preserving the artifacts in our museum. The Captain Molly Corbin chapter project under Jane’s leadership won regional, state and national recognition and the Historical Society was presented the Historic Preservation Project Award from the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

The public is invited and always welcome.  Join us for refreshments at 6:30 PM.
