Grapevine Mayor W. D. Tate will address citizens and public gathered at the historic Torian Cabin located across from City Hall on Main Street in Grapevine at 10 AM Saturday March  1.   The Mayor will provide interesting historical commentary and share his thoughts on values and importance of Texas Independence recognition, which was originally declared on March 2, 1836.  This special event celebrating the 178th anniversary of Texas independence from Mexico is sponsored by the Grapevine Historical Society and everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend.
