“The Sweeney ranch sits at the beginning of the hill country in Morgan Mill. From the rockers on the back porch of the ranch house, one looks at this amazing multi-trunk live oak and layers of hills in the distance. I’ve painted this tree and view twice and have taken a dozen photos at all times of day and the constantly changing scene is a favorite.”

“As a little girl, I loved to catch dragonflies and hold their wings between my thumb and forefinger. There were blue, green and orange dragonflies. I thought their colors were beautiful and they were cute little creatures. After a while, I would let them fly away.”
