“‘Bet’, the second letter of the Hebrew alphabet is shaped like a house with a roof and a floor.
The white dot in the middle represents the presence of God in the midst of the family.  Although this is the earthly family of Jesus, the painting is to be a reminder that God can be invited into the home of everyone who will ask and believe in faith.”

“My subject is two sweet paint mares grazing on a cool fall day in an open pasture.  I went more natural with the color on this piece but accentuated the shadows on the white portions of the mare’s coats.  I love the crisp blue of the shadows to bring the feeling of a slight nip in the air before the settle of a beautiful autumn day.”
