“Jan Thompson’s workshops are what got me back into art after nearly 30 years.  After spending a couple of summers in Creede, Colorado I signed up for one of her pastel workshops not having any expectations of producing any great art but just to have fun doing art.  Never having done pastels I was surprised at how much I not only learned but how much fun I had doing it.  I was immediately drawn into the world of art again.  But the best thing I think is that she is passionate about her craft, if you want to learn about pastels this is the person to learn from. I actually have my own art studio now because of that first workshop I decided to take from Janet R. Thompson”.
