Abstract painting is the result of the artists’ practice of daily meditation. Julia Ross includes soft hues of the 2020 colors of the year. The process begins with staining the canvas with acrylic paint in deep blue and bleached coral then building on the composition with green turquoise and aqua with accents of black metallic ink, gold and silver. The end product of this abstract painting represents grounding elements of earth, with flowing wind and water.
