First United Methodist Grapevine Tweens are hosting a Community Pet Blessing on Sunday, March 17, 2019 from 1:30-3:00. The Pet Blessing Service, led by Pastor Grant Palma, will be
followed by individual blessings for each pet with the help of the Tweens.
Every pet will receive a blessing tag for their collar, cage, or crate. We ask that all pets be leashed, crated or caged. There will be pet treats and people treats served. Ribbons will be awarded for the best dressed, best behaved, most unusual pet, and best trick by a pet. So join other pet lovers to receive a word of love, grace and blessing. We will be accepting towels, unscented, non-clumping cat litter, bedding/blankets without stuffing, soft dog and cat treats, new toys, leashes, and collars for local pets in need. Spread the word.
Join us under the tent on the church’s Ball Street lot adjacent to Grapevine Botanical Gardens from 1:30 – 3:00 p.m. on March 17. You need not be a pet owner to enjoy the afternoon. Wild Things to You will have plenty of pets for you.
Wild Things Zoo to You will be at the Pet Blessing. It’s a wildly educational mini zoo guaranteed to provide some wild entertainment before, during, and after the Pet Blessing event. Our guests will be able to get up close and personal with a variety of exotic species including reptiles, mammals and much more!
