DESCRIPTION:First Grapevine United Methodist Church presents its 2 nd Annua
 l noontime Organ Concert Series during Holy Week\, April 3-7 in the Sanctu
 ary\, 422 Church Street\, located one block west of Main St.  Admission is
  free and open to the public\, with voluntary donations will be accepted a
 fter each performance. \n  \nEach day at noon\, a local organist will offe
 r a 30–45 minute music presentation appropriate for Holy Week\, and will b
 e followed by a cookie reception in the narthex. \n  \nOn Monday\, April 3
 \, nationally renowned concert organist Bradley Welch will perform a varie
 d and wide-ranging program of organ selections. Bradley is an artist-in-re
 sidence for Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church in Dallas\, TX\, and serves
  as the resident organist for the Dallas Symphony Orchestra. \n  \nOn Tues
 day\, April 4\, organist Sunny Yu will perform unique and beautiful select
 ions of organ works ranging from meditative to majestic.  Sunny is the Ass
 ociate Director of Music and Organist at First Presbyterian Church of Dall
 as\, and this will be her first time performing for First Grapevine.     \
 n  \nOn Wednesday\, April 5\, organist and long-time friend Ken Surley wil
 l walk us through Holy Week with his selection of reflective organ pieces.
  Ken is an organist at Plymouth Park United Methodist Church where he has
  served for thirty years. He is certified by the American Guild of Organis
 ts and has played worldwide\, accompanying various choirs and ensembles. \
 n  \nOn Thursday\, April 6\, well-known organist and pianist Scott Ayers w
 ill provide a program of both organ and piano selections. Scott serves as
  the organist/accompanist of East Dallas Christian Church and is the Assoc
 iate Conductor and pianist for the Turtle Creek Chorale.  During Scott’s p
 rogram at First Grapevine\, he will be taking hymn requests from the congr
 egation and then improvising on-the-spot hymn arrangements. \n  \nOn Frida
 y\, April 7\, First Grapevine's organist and master musician Linda Love wi
 ll be joined by members of the First Grapevine music staff\, including Ash
 ley Winland\, soprano.  This program will feature a selection of organ and
  vocal pieces appropriate for Good Friday. Linda has had a long career as
  an organist\, accompanist\, vocal coach\, and director of the Fishers of
  Men\, the men's choir ensemble at First Grapevine.\nFirst United Methodis
