The 2012 Northeast Tarrant County Transportation Summit will take place on Friday, February 10th.

The event will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Hurst Conference Center in Hurst. In its third year, the annual summit is organized to spotlight important transportation projects and issues in Northeast Tarrant County as well as other regional initiatives.

The morning portion of this year's event will focus on commuter rail in North Texas, partnerships for successful road projects, and an overview of regional transportation. Representatives from various agencies will also speak at the event.

The executive director of the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDot), Phil Wilson, will give the keynote address at the luncheon.

Reservations are required, with tickets costing $25 per person. Call the Grapevine Chamber of Commerce at 817-481-1522 to save your spot!
