Check Out the Vetro Glassblowing Studio for Unique Valentine's Day Fun

In the heart of Grapevine's historic district, you'll find Vetro (Italian for “Glass”) - a glassblowing studio and gallery with a team of glass artists led by founder David Gappa.  Twelve years ago, Gappa was inspired to follow a passion that he shares with Italian glassblowers centuries before him.  And he selected Grapevine for its home.  Aside from creating a gallery of fine art glass and custom works of art, Vetro celebrates each holiday by welcoming everyone to join in the glassblowing experience.

This Saturday and Sunday, Vetro is offering its Traditional Valentine Experience.  From 10am to 6pm on Saturday and 12pm to 5pm on Sunday, you help make your own glass flower or heart valentines.  For $25 per flower and $39 per heart, you choose from three color color schemes, help apply the color to hot molten glass gather, and stand by the artist to complete your work of art.  All ages welcome, under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.  First-come, first-served basis.  All details here - http://vetroartglass.com/traditional-valentine-experience

And back by popular demand, Vetro is hosting two Valentine “Hot Date Nights” on February 13th and 14th.   From 5pm to 10pm, bring your Valentine for the hottest experience around.  For $125 a couple, you enjoy wine and hors d'oeuvres in the studio and have a hands-on glassblowing session with a Vetro artist to help make both a glass flower and heart.  You choose any colors, help apply color to hot molten glass gather, work with the artist to heat glass in 2,000-degree furnace, and help artist complete your works of art.  You must be over 18 to participate and 21 to drink.  Must have a reservation, make them on-line here - http://vetroartglass.com/vetros-hot-date-night
