A former assistant principal at Grapevine High School has been hired as the principal of Chisholm Trail Middle School in Rhome, according to an article in the Star-Telegram.

Todd Rogers will replace Rob Thornell, who was hired as Northwest Independent School District's new executive director for staff development and curriculum.

Rogers served as principal at Peterson Elementary School since 2008. His promotion was announced at the Dec. 12 school board meeting.
