Ever wonder what it would be like to be a firefighter?

Now average citizens have the chance to get a sneak peek at what it really takes to work in the profession by participating in the Grapevine Fire Department's annual Citizens Fire Academy (CFA). During the course, attendees will learn about the fire department, meet the firefighters, participate in live fire training and more.

The Academy kicks off on February 16th and meets every Thursday evening until May 10. Classes are held at the fire station at 601 Boyd from 7 to 9 p.m.
